My name is Leandro Mello, and I am a 2D animator living in Canada.

I worked for animated projects in Brazil, the Netherlands and here in Canada. Some of the projects I have been part of include Rick and Morty, My Little Pony: the Movie, Peanuts, Curious George, Carmen Sandiego, The Last Kids on Earth, Agent Elvis, among others.

Then there's you.

You have the talent, but probably had no time, money or opportunity to get formal education in animation. Or you have been to college and, like so many people, feel you learned almost nothing from it. Or you want to get into the industry as an animator, but maybe you have no portfolio and no idea of how to get in.

How does it work?

Click my face above, and it will take you to my profile on Superprof, a learning platform where students can seek instructors for a variety of subjects.

Book some sessions with me (the first one is free!). We will talk about your goals and assess where you are in your animation journey. Whatever your current level is, I will adjust my curriculum to your needs.

If your goal is to ace college assignments, I will give you the step-by-step to get a great grade.

If you want to develop your own project, I will mentor you in all the professional tools and techniques you need to get it done.

And if you want to develop an awesome portfolio to show studios, we will develop a one-minute portfolio with scenes that reflect your unique skills and personality.

Depending on your goals, we’ll train a few basic skills, plan our scenes, and immediately put those skills to good use.

You may receive a few theme ideas to explore. Traditional, cut-out, effects, creatures etc. You’ll learn a lot as you go.

And, by the time your portfolio is ready, you’ll be ready for the industry as well.

Plus, if your portfolio looks really outstanding, I’ll refer you to studios in town!

Having worked for studios in three different countries, I know what they look for in your presentation material. And you are going to deliver just that.
